Guruji Krishnananda was an embodiment of purity and love. One can visibly associate divinity with his mere speech and appearance. Fondly addressed by all as ‘Guruji’, he was a father, mother, friend and a guide to all those who came in close contact with him. Guruji was born on May 18, 1939 to his pious parents and as a result he grew up to be a man of goodness, honesty, kindness and empathy.

Guruji had strong inclination towards music, arts and literature. He was not convinced with insensitivity being an order of the world. Deep down, he craved to build an ideal world full of love and light. Though Guruji lived the life of a normal householder, he consistently yearned for someone who could understand his feelings towards building a better world.

It was only after he spent 38 long years of his life that he met his Guru Maharishi Amara. Since then, his life changed completely. Amara introduced Guruji to Rishis, Divine Personalities, Higher realms and many unheardof realities. When he called for workers for a spiritual project, Guruji promptly answered him with his unconditional allegiance.

Guruji left his Government job and joined the project in 1981. However, with Amara’s demise in 1982, he became lonely again. In the midst of harsh trials, he began teaching meditations from 1988 onwards. Simultaneously, he built the project of Rishis brick by brick.

Guruji has never spoken much about his astral work. He wisely concealed his greatness behind his simple look. He spoke more about Amara and Rishis than about himself. And his astral works coupled with physical projects kept him busy day and night. He carried the vision of establishing Second Shambala on Earth.

Guruji left the physical body on November 23, 2012. Guruji continues to guide all those who seek him sincerely from the astral level. And his legacy continues to live on, through his teachings and dedicated disciples.
